So how did you decide your children’s names, did you have them prepared or just pluck one out your toosh when sproggit popped out.
When we were having LPV we were prepared we’d picked out names for a girl but when we found he was a boy it made life easier. Well, to a certain extent anyway, If I’m honest I didn’t want him to have the name he has now, don’t get me wrong I love his name he’s an L and nothing else but my choice was Aiden…….but when he popped out the sunroof he was LPV and there was no two ways about it.
This time round we’re not so prepared, especially not knowing the sex is making naming really difficult. We have a boy’s name picked out and I am adamant it will be this if it’s a boy, it’s actually one of the names I turned my nose up when we were thinking of names for LPV. However girls names are my nemesis, we want something traditional but not common, something that travels well but that doesn’t sound like a made up name. When I taught preschool in Dubai my children in my class wanted me to call LPV “Rainbow Triceratops” and to be honest if we don’t agree on a girl’s name soon, that’s what it will be, has a certain ring to it tho!!!
I’ve even taken to watching Cbeebies birthday card time to help in our name quest, however this just clarifies the names I certainly don’t want.
Help!!!! give me some baby names!!!!
